What is Hookin2Hockey?

A national junior hockey development program run in various ways around Australia, Hookin2Hockey gives boys and girls 10 and under the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills and make friends – all while beginning their lifelong love of hockey. 1. Come and Try – Introduction to the basics of hockey with emphasis on fun and involvement. Hookin2Hockey provides a welcoming environment for both the participant and their family.
2. Skills in Action – Programs for weekdays or holidays run by clubs at various school venues thoughout Darwin and Palmerston. Register through NT Hockey website.
3. Game On! – Small game sessions run once a week by clubs either individually or together at various venues. Focus is on participation and enjoyment and introducing a sense of belonging to the hockey community.
