Casual Player Policy
Commerce Pints provides an option for players who are unable to commit to a full season (Full Membership). Due to issues relating to having to monitor and chase payments, the committee has decided to provide casual players the following options for fees
Single game Option - $60 per game (for a maximum of 3 games)
- Available for visiting players (who are not Darwin Residents) and new players who are trying out the sport.
- Invoice must be paid within one week of playing the game
- individuals (regular players) wishing to play under the Single game option may apply to the committee for an exemption to the above limitations.
- may be upgraded to 5 game option at any time (credit will be given to any payments already made under this option during the current season). this must be paid prior to playing the next game
Five (5) game Option - $250 per five (5) game block ($50per game)
- Casual players must be confirmed by the Committee Management team prior to an invoice being produced (primarily to confirm no outstanding invoices)
- Invoice for 5 game blocks must be paid prior to any of the pre-purchased games being played.
- Third purchase of five (5) game block will upgrade player membership to Full Membership (Player will be invoiced the full amount and credited for payments already made during the current season)
- Unused games may be credited back to the player upon request at the end of the season (not available for if upgraded to Full membership)
- Finals will count as a regular game and must be paid for accordingly
- Casual players are not eligible for any discounts
Insurance
All registered participants (players, officials and vounteers) are covered by the National Hockey Insurance Program and Hockey NT Insurance. This ensures all registered participants are protected with a minimum level of insurance.
Both insurance programs are in addition to club fees and are paid online at point of registration directly to Hockey Australia and Hockey NT. All Seniors playing hockey are required to have this paid before taking the field.
